Tankmen: Battle 2 Medal Guide

Posted by DiMono - December 7th, 2010

Tankmen: Battle 2 is a very tedious game by the same person who gave you the original Tankmen: Battle. The premise is you enter some bases in Nevada, and kill things. Pretty simple.

Medals (22 for 500pts):
The Start Of Something (5) - Conquer the first base

Black Backpack (10) - Find the black backpack

Blue Backpack (10) - Find the blue backpack

White Backpack (10) - Find the white backpack

Green Backpack (10) - Find the green backpack

Kill The Clown (10) - Conquer the second base

Orange Backpack (10) - Find the orange backpack

Pink Backpack (10) - Find the pink backpack

Purple Backpack (10) - Find the purple backpack

Red Backpack (10) - Find the red backpack

Sky Blue Backpack (10) - Find the sky blue backpack

White Backpack (10) - Find the white backpack

Yellow Backpack (10) - Find the yellow backpack

Back To The Grave (25) - Conquer the fourth base

Demise Of The Savior (25) - Conquer the sixth base

Hints Of Evil (25) - Conquer the third base

Sending Him Back To Hell (25) - Conquer the fifth base

To Kill A Killing Machine (25) - Conquer the seventh base

Treasure Hunter (50) - Find all 11 backpacks

An Honor Serving (100) - Reach General rank (that means level 30)

Secret Medal (50) - Shhh... it's secret

Secret Medal (50) - Shhh... it's secret

Backpacks are all in lockers, so just scan each screen to see if there's one there. If there is, click on it. One of them's hidden behind the action buttons, so you'll have to click that one after deciding what to do. The rest of the medals are gotten just by playing the game.

Gameplay
Pay attention to the first page of instructions, and ignore the rest. Here's what you need to know:

When you kill things, you get experience, and with enough experience you level up, and with each level you get 1 point to spend. To get there, when in a fight, click on the face in the top-left corner of the screen. From top to bottom the places you can spend your points are attack, defense, skill. Always spend the point in attack, without exception.

Now, to weapons: All weapons do the same damage, with a base value of 3-6 + 1 per point in attack. You'll want your primary weapon to be a gun at all times. Either go with a gun and a blade, or the last or third-last gun. The reason is that with these two combinations, your attack will hit 3 times rather than once or twice. So if you're doing 8 damage, you actually hit them for 24. Other equipment is meaningless from a gameplay perspective, go with what you like the look of.

Now, to strategy. All fights shall go as follows: start by casting barrier - this is important. If you have fewer than 10 points in attack, your next two rounds should be the rocket. If your health is below 30, use a med kit. Otherwise, attack until the enemy is dead. Seriously, that's it; that's the whole game. The exception is when you get up around level 27 you no longer have to cast barrier unless you're going up against the Savior or Hank, because you'll kill them faster than they can kill you without the barrier (though you may need to throw in a med kit here and there).

You don't lose anything if you die, so just continue off from the last base you were able to conquer and grab a couple more levels before proceeding further. When it comes to reaching level 30 I like grinding in base 6, because at that point in the game you're guaranteed at least 1 level every time through the base, and it only takes about a minute, minute and a half to finish the base. If at level 30 you can't kill Hank with 1 med kit used, you've done something wrong.

And that's that. Questions?

Nice Guide

still some medals seem to be broken ( they dont add the points but are registered), i hope PsychoGolfish reads the Pm.

Anyway thanks for the guide

I wrote this just to piss you off.Did it work?

Im trying to find the secret ones if you can help : )

God, I hate grinding medals...

nope useless (for me) the game isn't that hard. Eveything here i already know. Only the secret medals i need and u dont have them.. so no not a good help.

When you mean the last or 3rd last gun to use, do you mean those in the list or when they are recieved?

I finally have all of the colored backpacks. Now I'm going for the badge that needs you to be a general.

u suck for not leaving the secret medals!
