For red moon deity, I went into the final boss fight with a full special bar, I ran directly to him and jumed above him, use the mid-air special, then just hack and slash, the real goal is to get him against the left wall, where you can stand directly in line with him and just slice away until he poses a move, then you jump towards the wall, wall jump back to the right, then try to get him back in the corner...biggest worry is the ground lightning burst.
