Here's the game. It's a classic style of game with a time twist and a difficulty ladder. Also, it doesn't ever take very long to play a game. Not bad.
Medals (4 for 180 points):
Column Remover (5) - Perform Column Remover for the first time
10 Creature (25) - Remove 10 or more creatures in a single click
10 Stage (50) - Reach stage 10
Who Can Do This? (100) - Reach stage 35, the developer cannot do this. Note that a 38 creature combo only gets you to wave 36, which means you need a combo of 37 or greater to get this, which is a mathematical rarity. I've done it twice, with weeks between the two games.
Scoring:
Taking out 2 creatures gets you 3 points, which is 2*2-1. Taking out 3 gets you 7, which is 2*2*2-1. Taking out 4 gets you 15, which is 2*2*2*2-1. In short, Taking out n creatures gets you (2^n) - 1 points. That means if you get 13 creatures with one shot you'll get 2^13 - 1 points, or 8191, which is enough to get to wave 10. And if you get 20 with one shot you'll get 2^20 - 1 points, which is 1,048,575 points. At the end of the game you also get 100x whatever wave you got to.
Gameplay:
The basic strategy is to wait for the first few rows and see what develops, and try to assemble a large group of similar creatures out of that. With a bit of luck, you'll get some massive grouping to remove. Note that this usually doesn't happen! If you notice a lot of the same creature showing up, try to keep as many of that type at the bottom of the screen as possible without breaking your grouping, to maximize the odds of your group getting bigger. When you reach a point where it's either too dangerous to keep waiting, or your grouping runs out, pull the trigger on it. Then, if you care what wave you're on, you just need to stay alive long enough to let your score carry up your wave number.
After you've taken out enough creatures (no idea what the number is) you gain the ability to remove a column by pressing the corresponding number. Despite how adamantly the game tries to convince you to do this, hold off until it's absolutely necessary, as removing a column also rearranges the columns as they collapse around the one you removed, changing your odds of getting another reasonably sized combo. In fact, whenever a column is removed from the board, the gameboard squeezes to the left to fill the gap, so keep this in mind at all times, especially when trying to build a bigger combo.
My personal best is 274 billion points on the strength of a 38 creature combo (2^32 - 1 = 274,877,906,943). This is that run:

And that's that. Oh, and there's a bug where you can sometimes remove multiple columns at once by pressing their numbers at the same time. But people who aren't dicks don't do that.
